truebluemeandyou: DIY Easy Button Bracelet. Reblogging because this is the tutorial drealikesurface used to make her own bracelet here.

DIY Easiest Cheapest Button Bracelet Ever (that looks good if you pick the right buttons). You could use braiding cord or leather cord in any color you want and add beads. I like how she made the buttons look sewn on. Tutorial Hope Studios here.

I love this tutorial for a button bracelet! I think these would look especially nice with the shrinking buttons.

This fort frame could be easily made out of PVC pipe. I would recommend gluing it, as my PVC puppet theatre (which gets tons of use in the classroom) tends to fall apart with constant use. Not bad, but if it fell apart it would be slightly more annoying with a blanket and multiple kids.

DIY Inspiration tent blanket or fort. Instead of spending $358 for the blanket and tent structure, paint a canvas drop cloth with the details you and your kids want on it. You can drape this over anything - chairs, PVC constructed tent structure etc… Blanket and tent from Donna Wilson here.

Drop cloths for painting can be used for so many things: curtains, upholstery fabric (that you can paint or stamp yourself), etc…

How to make cornstarch slime. This would be tons of fun in the classroom. Messy, but tons of fun. Maybe an outside activity?

DIY Melted Perler Bead Jewelry. As I’ve posted before, Perler Beads are wonderful for children of an appropriate age because they are big enough for them to thread shoelaces through to make jewelry (one of my favorite small gifts is a tackle box with Perler Beads, shoelaces and the child’s name written with puffy paint on top). 6000 Perler Beads from Amazon (with pegboards) is about $9 here (NO AFFILIATE LINKS). Tutorial from Craft and Creativity here.

Too bad this is too late for Mother’s day. Super easy to do with the kids, though.

I love this idea, especially since I don’t have a lot of shelving units or storage options. This would be super cute for a nursery, too.

PVC pipe house. Not a tutorial but a neat inspiration. I wish I had the floor space to make something like this, but I don’t know if it would survive with multiple kids unless it’s glued.
